The development carried out with Helix has led to the creation of a completely new propeller that combines the characteristics of the already approved -NM- and -NL- propellers with the advantages of a new propeller, thanks to an innovative design and an anti-slip profile, called VH.
Starting from the heart of the propeller towards the external line, we see that the new propeller is characterized by a narrower and higher hub. This avoids the addition of the spacer thickness (M120) between propeller and transmission. The other lines that form the new VH profile from the center to the tips are a true combination of art, design and technology.
The new propellers, compared to the previous ones, have some important advantages:
– they are lighter, without affecting structural strength and safety;
– they allow fast acceleration and reduce the dynamic torque effects;
– they provide top performance for better static thrust;
– they give optimized fuel consumption at cruising speed, thanks to the new low resistance profile and the best angle of attack.

Solid Prop
I've been flying a Helix 130 and wanted to have a backup so I ordered the new Fast Acceleration prop. I've had about 20 flights on it and I really like this prop. It does spool up faster than the standard helix but still seems more durable than lighter options. Thrust might be a bit higher but without a thrust stand it's impossible to know for sure. It is certainly quieter than my previous helix and I have consistently seen about 100+ fpm improvement in climb rate. My old helix is now the backup.

Great Prop
This is now my primary prop! I am a Cross Country and Cruise for comfort pilot for reference. I waited to complete a review until I put multiple flights on this prop. My impressions on build quality, feel, tolerances, durability, and workmanship are all superb on this 125cm Prop. For reference, I've always owned/flown Eprops both 2 & 3 blade. I tried this prop searching for more thrust than my 2 blade and better fuel economy than my 3 blade. Goal Accomplished! My thrust is higher, my fuel burn is lower, and my engine temps are cooler. At both climb & cruise the prop is super smooth and I do not find the tone of any concern. I'm most impressed with the durability as I'm NOT concerned about small rocks at launch or treating my prop as a fragile package anymore. Again, it's durable but not at the cost of performance. I feel spool up is noticeably faster than my 3 blade and slightly slower than my 2 blade Eprop as I expected. Vittorazi & Helix teamed up and built a great modern prop! Buy it.
