When motor and exhaust mounts start to fail their ability to absorb vibration greatly diminishes and we know excessive vibration can lead to parts failing prematurely. If you check out the maintenance manual the motor and exhaust mounts should be replaced every 150hrs or annually. This may seem excessive but hot environments with lots of direct sunlight can significantly shorten the service life.
