    I was on the fence with the cost but the upgrade brought the 80 to life! It runs better and sounds better. I wish I had thrust numbers of before and after but it definitely was an improvement.

    This kit was really easy to install with the instructions from Chris on a PDF file. He was very helpful and the product came very quick. I thought I was going to be grounded for a few weeks and I had it up and running it in days.

    This full kit needed to convert from earlier MY carb *with pulse line

    I installed this complete kit on my MY19 A80. There are several obvious improvements to note: - the return throttle spring is *much stronger - the current fuel and pulse lines fit with the new carb - we now have both low and high speed mixture adjustments (though Vitto specifies that the high speed mixture screw is ‘fixed’... but only using a piece of tape) - the vestigial butterfly choke has been removed - idle speed is now adjusted with a more traditional screw that presses against the throttle lever, so screw in increases and screw out decreases. The overall implementation is more compact. The setting screws are a little more difficult to work with and if the engine is hot, will require a long screwdriver to reach. Initial run-ups show anecdotal improvements also. The rough area above idle is now of a smaller range, and performance above this smaller rougher running area is *smooth. I cannot yet comment on fuel consumption. No change in cold start. This engine pretty much always starts on one pull, with prime. The engine is running great with the carb upgrade. Can’t wait to get into the air!
