What type of safety webbing do I need?
Choosing your safety webbing:
For Low Swing Arms (Pap, PXP, Kangook, Fly Products, ect.) - Safety webbing short, 12mm dyneema webbing (code: 80041)
For Mid Swing Arms (S-bars, ParaJet, Kangook, Swan neck(Mini Plane), ect.) - Safety webbing long, 12mm dyneema webbing (code: 80042)
Choosing your carabiner connector webbing:
For Tube Arms (MiniPlane, R. Ultralight, Air-Conception - typical tube diameter 25mm) Carabiner loop, 12mm dyneema webbing (code: 44704)
For CNC Arms or Omega Shackle Connector (Fly Products, PXP, ParaJet, Kangoook, Scott, Yooda) Figure 8 connection for side arms with carabiner, 25mm polyester webbing. (code 80049)
Notes to ensure you have the correct setup:
Always do a hang check prior to flight.
If your safety webbing is too short:
-It will limit the side arm range of motion, reducing weight shift ability.
-It will make it harder to get into the seat after takeoff.
- It may alter the hang/thrust angle.
If your safety webbing is too long:
- In case of asymmetric arm failure, there will be a large difference in the carabiner heights between the two dies, leading to a dangerous weight shift turn.

Apco SLT harness
I’m loving my new Apco harness, went from a Blackhawk harness to this one. Great design with lots of options. Thanks to sky sports they spent the time with me over the phone to decide. I installed the harness on an Blackhawk kestrel chassis and it hooked up perfectly.

Best harness
Shopping for a replacement harness after spilling gas on my harness. Wanted the same Dudek harness but noticed that Dudek went back to the old cobra heavy buckles. Dudek must have found a cheep surplus of those buckles. No other harness companies use them any more. Shopped around and found this Apco SLT. A quick glance it looks almost identical to Dudeks but their are minor differences. First thing is the weight. Apco is much lighter. Padding and comfort is about the same. The only nitpick is there's no velcro holder to stow your speed bar.
