At present, we have not issued an official instruction document for this procedure.To remove the cover with the weep hole, it must be drilled using a drill bit with a diameter between 7.00 mm and 7.20 mm maximum.
After removing all residual debris and the old internal components from the bore, proceed as follows:
- Thoroughly clean the housing
- Install the new components (spring, O-ring, aluminum part, etc.)
- Install the new cover with the weep hole
The cover with the weep hole must be press-fitted (we use a small hydraulic press).
Apply high-strength Loctite to the external surface of cover with the weep hole, taking care not to obstruct the central weep hole.
